“Be the CHANGE you wish to see” - Gandhi

Do you ask why our beautiful country isn’t doing more for its people? Have you had enough of what the government and opposition have to offer? Have you wondered, where and to what, all the money we borrow goes? Why not to our factories for production, hospitals, schools, police stations and roads?

Do you think, you or others you know of, could manage our affairs better? We think it is time for you and all Jamaicans, to show that we can. General Elections are weeks away, local elections are around the corner. Are you ready to “Be the Change, you wish to see”?

The Nation Democratic Movement, NDM has such a platform for you. The NDM has the policies for you and all Jamaicans to set Jamaica on a path. A path to being truly free!

Buying & Selling “your VOTE”
Buying & Selling “your VOTE” July 15th, 2007

Give mi $5000 an mi vote fi u, big man thing

Hi  F20,

Thanks for bringing BUYING THE VOTE to light.

Why only $5,000 - Why not $100,000 or even $1,000,000?

“Anything unsustainable will lead to the ruination of one and his or her people.”

This is one example of the types of things that we have to get rid of in the Jamaican politics of today.  Our country and economy is where it is because of this and other similar dishonourable practices of some politicians and parties. It clearly continue to the present time as well.

You and your friends can help to change these things and cause JAMAICA to become what it was really intended to be. A country for freedom, peace, love, joys and understanding. A land we love.  It is time for a change of attitude and a change of heart. Not only for the politicians but for we the people as well.

When you and others like you are ready for Another Way, JAMAICA! Jamaica will be waiting - wake up my friend. With this approach so much more trouble will be coming our way.

There is Another Way, JAMAICA.  Help me help us to get there!

Finally, About You & Your Policies!

Hi C.C.

If I have an input as to how to help the youths of this country i most certainly will let u know of my ideas.

But let me say that if this has anything to do with politics, be it PNP, JLP, NDM or any other party that exist I want nothing to do with it at all. I hold no political view or support no politcal party and have no intentions of voting for any side.

So if thats not the case then feel free to ask my input anytime.

ED.

Hey ED

Thanks for your clear statement and I understand and value your position. Yes i have to admit that it does involve politics. Personally I am for the NDM views. And after the NDM it would be for any New Independent Movement of sorts.

Another Way, JAMAICA! is really getting people together to serve in what ever way they find and feel comfortable doing. For example: We have some youth interested in organizing on problems around sexual harassment. Others have interest in the environment, while others are on the skills training ideas and internet commerce.

I hope this gives a clearer picture but as said there will be groups channeling the efforts towards the activities of politics and politicians too.

One Love friend and I understand no matter what decision you make or take. We sure wish you'll find or start a team of your interest.

A New Politics for You & Your Children
Are you disappointed in the levels of Governance:

- Causing the almost 2 decades of poverty, decay and crimes?
- Resulting in the state of our economy and the borrow to survive policies?
- Offered by the ruling PNP and opposition JLP?

There is another way, Jamaica! Our independent thought, words and action can make the difference.

Together we can come up with our alternative to what has misled Jamaica all these years...a broken system of government.

Let's fix problems at their roots by making a new people loving, workable Jamaican Constitution!
Let's stop out of control corruption and other injustice by adopting the system of Separation of Powers in government!
Let's improve local and overseas investments by public hearings with the best skilled Jamaicans for Cabinet appointments!

Tell & send this to your family and friends!

I'm really sorry you lost i was really hoping that if its even one seat the NDM would have gotten. Regardless I really hope and expect that your small team will still demand your slice of the pie by working closely with the new government to ensure that all is well with our home Jamaica.

I you are speaking the words that represent all well thinking Jamaican, however, my question is are u a representative of the NDM - I am seeing the slogan. If you are, you are actually a part of the 'divide and rule' passe, and that ain't good for Jamaica. All the honest, hardworking, ambitious and optimistic member of this society are looking for a better way out, but it is obvious that poltricks, represented by any party has not been benefitial to us, as far back as the 1930's. What else do you have to offer?

judging from the comments on this page i must smile you see the wider society is being represented here all i seeing is straight showa or some other crap, ask half these dudes why the say showa or powa they dont know , its become something cool to say ... but right now i saying none, politics is very horrible and it has in a large way contributed to the brain drain, i mean after u go school get wise to whats really going on, then as buju said in his song .... Who can afford to run will run but what about those who cant they will have to stay, and sadly its a lot of none progressive elements that stay feel me .. i fear for my country's future ... and though i am one who is about to run, i am sorry for those who cant afford to run.
