We begin our lives very young. We have no clue to the world we inhabit yet we eventually grow to have "some" knowledge of it. As time goes by we adapt and learn yet learning is active throughout our lives thus we only have "some" understanding. When we took our first step did we say, hey mom or hey dad i know i can walk so i am going to do it? No, we didn't cause if we did we wouldn't have fallen so many times.

We go out on our first date, do we have a clue of what a date is or even what to do? Well, I didn't but through trials and errors we eventually get it right (keep in mind my first date went better than expected). If we knew the one we proclaimed to love would eventually say "I wanna go", would we have gotten involved? Of course we wouldn't. We probably, for the fun of it, may get involve to say at that point "hey, this is where your gonna dump me so am doing the dumping first". However, we aren't all gifted with such psychic luxury.

I've heard/read on many occasions when one says/write that they'll know or that certain things can't happen to him/her. Take for example, I'll know when i'm being bullshitted. Trust me, you wont have a clue that you have been given the bull until you've received the shit. But, hey if you're truly psychic then more power to you. Yeah, one may say that there are signs but that's like saying i've been in a marriage for 30 years and have filed a divorced when you've specifically vowed at the altar "until death do us part".

Probably, saying/writing it brings some fear but it doesn't work with everyone and may only be broadcast to another as a challenge. Shutting out everything/everyone doesn't solve anything either. Opportunity knocks but at times we may miss it because of the very reason stated. Sometimes we may get hurt even worse because of the high confidence one has that another cannot break his/her guard. There are some, if not most, who meet someone he/she likes and, at most, wishes for him/her to be just the way he/she want. Before he/she realized it, you have already been hung out to dry (yeah, some person are just that good or bad). Hurt is part of growing up. Accepting and learning from the situation is part of maturing.The best one can do is be cautious and take precautions.
