My Country, why you let me cry,
My tears flow like the blood of my brothers on the street
My heart sinks to depths, from my sisters’ cry for peace
My shame has over shadowed my great pride
My ears have gone deaf from the cries of pain
My Country, why you let me cry,
Your beauty has been tarnished by your people’s bloodshed
Listen to their shout and heal their pain
Eternal Father Bless our land,
And save my country from a destructive end.
Let me cry no more for this land, I Love...

Will I find the dream I chase today?
Or will I have settle for whats along the way.
Must I walla in a depressed state?
Or can I rise up with a clean slate
Father will you hear your child’s cry,
And take your love and wipe my tears dry.
Take away all my troubles and this pain
And let my mercies fall down on me like the rain
Oh Father my soul is stressed,
What can I do to get it some rest?
I know what I may ask, to give up this life I leased,
But maybe when dead I will be at peace
I don’t know, I can’t tell
All I know this situation I am in, is a living hell...
