There have been several successful dancehall queen competitions in Italy over the years, but this is the first contest in Europe to be meticulously organized, culminating in the winner being sent to the International Dancehall Queen Competition held annually for the 10th year in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The extraordinarily popular contest attracts contestants from all over the world. This behaviuor is not the will of His Imperial Majesty. The name Rasta Woman creates an inferiority complex that subjects her to the Pauline principle that woman must be silenced (I Timothy 2v11-15). However Daughters that adhere to Rasta Haile Selassie-Ist doctrine must see ourselves as emancipated Ethiopian women who re awaken the dynamic and progressive qualities of Empress Menen, Empress Taitu, and Queen Makeda. This group is a forum for like minded daughters who wish to reason about issues facing the 21st Century Daughters of His Majesty; how we are going to move forward and strengthen each other in this new Aquarian age.
