Newcomer to the dancehall arena, Delus, born Delmark St. Aubyn Spence Jr. shot his first solo video for the hard-hitting single Informer last Sunday at several locations across the Corporate Area.
The Sherlock Gardens resident was in a jubilant mood as he took directions from videographer Simeon, who boasts a credible portfolio. Simeon has worked on high profile videos including Barbee and Junior Kelly’s Missing You, Lutan Fyah’s De La Vega, Hollow Point’s Sitting by my Window, and several others.
According to Simeon, the song is self-explanatory and therefore the
video has to have some additional drama that will captivate its
audience.

“It
is mostly a performance base video with a couple of cut-away that has
in some action,” Simeon explained, adding, “We have two persons playing
a spy role and also some police, with a surprise at the end of
everything.”
The video has some tantalizing scenes that bounce from a basketball court in Pembroke Hall to the cool Smokey Vale community. There are also some hot rides in the mix. There were several of his close friends on hand to give their support including his younger brother Konshens, who is a fast rising young artiste.
Delus is presently working on a deal with Dayne Music Group, and have several other constructive and definitive singles under his belt. He possesses top quality appearance in the dancehall/reggae genre such far having shot and edited music videos for some of dancehalls household names including Warrior King, D’ Angel, and Spragga Benz.
Delus is persistent and progressive and describes his music as
boundless as he lyrically tackles aspects of life that other artistes
usually tend to shy away from. He does not consider himself as just a
reggae/dancehall artiste but as: “an entertainer who does music for all
ears to listen”.
