As Tia entered the room she was overcome by a sense of sadness as she looked at the shabbiness of her surroundings. It was where she now lived. She felt the loneliness of her situation, but it was the place she now called home though. She wondered over to the portion of the room that was the kitchen and began preparing the kids lunch. Tia could hear Halson and Tammy playing behind her as she let her mind drift back to what she now referred to as the good old days. She remembered her house with all the rooms that she never thought were enough, and to just think she had planned on buying a bigger home. Then her thoughts turned to the long walks to catch the bus and the fact she no longer had the choice of what car to drive today. But that was now the past.
