I am very concerned that you Mr. Charles Clarke as a member of parliament see it fit to want to prosecute every person who maims / kills an police officer but do nothing to protect the normal civilian from the every day police abuses. The list is endless. Let us start with the shooting at Stock well and the blatant negligence of the officers and cover up by the commissioner. Then we have the blatant racist behavior of the police force and the promises and failure of the various chief constables to prosecute, the volume of deaths in custody, deaths by car accidents, assaults on the public, wrongful arrests, and the long list. Oddly that no police officer has ever been prosecuted nor recommended for prosecution. They all had this great no expense spared barrister paid for by the public purse to get them off, a slap on the wrist so to speak, and maybe a forceful early retirement on pretence medical grounds. NO PROSECUTION While I sympathize with any officer who is hurt, killed while on duty or off, they joined the service to protect and serve and know that like in the arm forces their is a high risk. Ask any insurance company. Special local memorials are not erected for soldiers who die to protect their country, nor is it done for firemen who climb into burning buildings to save people lives. Nor are doctors who risk catching all diseases while trying to save HIV and other terminal patients with infectious diseases. So why are the police special? I am still involved with litigation but do rest assured that if it takes my dying breath I will get justice. No I isn’t threatening no persons life as that is what you will like to think so you and the Labor party cronies can summon your bully boys to shut me up. I have been told by my psychologist that I am still suffering from serious trauma caused by what the police did to me. I will get my justice. If not here, in the EU courts, or the International Courts. One way or the other I will. I also promise that I will see you fall from grace and power as you have failed me, and the people of the UK in your duties.
