Life
As futile as it may seem, I pray that all the nations of the world would be repast with adequate food and water, and in this 21st century, we being the children of the same Creator, will seek with all of our hearts and souls, to "see" through God's eyes, and "feel" with God's heart for each other. That we would move from the law of retalitation [Lex Talionis], to true reconciliation, thus fulfilling God's desire, "That we would love the Lord Thy God with all thine heart, and all thine soul and all thine mind, and that we love "each other" as we love ourselves.

REALITY OF LOVE
Love, life’s greatest gift
Also brings much rift,
Is this to maintain balance?
To avoid us being in a trance
Finding love enchants the heart
Losing it tears us apart,
With love, our thoughts are pure and true
It flies away; we are in sorrow feeling blue
So, enjoy love while it last
For someday it may past,
Memories can hold us together
Because nothing lasts forever!

WITHOUT HER SAIL
At, and subsequent to September eleven
People saw hell and Heaven,
We had the world’s sympathy
Now we have their antipathy
America has been the greatest country
Like none other, when it came to democracy
But Bush and Cheney’s rendition and torture
Our goodwill they did squander
President Bush abused the Constitution
And ignored the Geneva Convention,
Imagine, calling others fundamentalists
When in truth and in fact he is the catalyst
Presently, we’re a ship without her sail
But that does not mean we have to fail,
Bush must know we are not a theocracy
No longer can he chagrin our democracy!

INDIVISIBLE, AND YET!
Like chilled wind before the rain
My heart aches with pain
Only for a while it will be wet
My feelings for you, I shall never forget
Why did our paths have to cross?
That left us with a sense of loss
How does one believe in destiny?
Knowing we are not in unity
Love is truly a blissful magic
And yes, it is also tragic
Unable to explain the feelings that we do
Cannot say to each other, “I love you”
Cognizant that our love is without a doubt
So really, what is life all about?
Emotions pulling the strings of our heart
But reality, keeps us apart!

FAITH
Faith is the foot of the soul by which we live in glory
Absent of faith, we dwell in darkness, gloom and misery,
Love can make our feet move more swiftly
But faith is the oil of holy devotion and earnest piety
With faith we can do anything in the service of God
Without faith, we have not the inclination to call on our Lord,
Freedom from sickness and pains of mortality was never promised to us
But we have a sure reward, if in God we trust
Little faith can save a man but it cannot do great things
Great faith can overcome as we fly on Eagle’s wings,
Giant despair requires great faith to knock the monster down
And for this, we shall wear Jehovah’s royal crown…

CHOICES IN LIFE
We can always choose the right way
Or, take the wrong that leads us astray
It is important which one we take
For that determines the life we make
Wrong is often fast and expeditious
Especially making us prosperous
Wrong inherits short term happiness
Its end is bitter with tears and emptiness
The right way seems mostly problematic
With impasses that are dramatic,
Happiness quite often is a distant far
But its end, lasting joy with sighs of AH!
Whatever choices we have made to this day
We still have the opportunity to say
Oh lord my God I humbly pray
Henceforth, please lead the way!

Life is an uphill battle for you
I’m sure you know it is true,
So many battles for so few years
So much sorrows, so many tears
Please know that I feel your pain
For my life has been much the same,

Impatient spirits may fret and fume
With Christ our Lord, you shall bloom
Be not distracted by doubts and fears

Dick Cheney on “Meet The Press”
Faced with facts, his answers, a distorted mess
Still talking arrogant and bold
He is living in a “Star Trek” world
Cheney has no kin in Baghdad’s fight
But he continues to expound pomp and might
Sent our soldiers to fight for a lie
How many more will have to die?
Iraq and terrorism are two different entities
Connected only by Bush and Cheney’s insanities
Five years now since nine eleven
And Osama is still in his cavelike haven
Certainly we have created more terrorists
Because Bush and Cheney are imperialists
Our vote in November should be out of devotion
To retake from these despots, our Beloved Nation!

Whether or not you agree or disagree with me, I respect all people, but I sincerely do believe that President Bush and Vice President Cheney “; LIED” to us when they neglected the justified war on terrorism in Afghanistan and invaded Iraq. Invading Iraq galvanized the numerous splintered Jihad groups into “one big killing machine.” Bush and Cheney’s necromancy is the cause for the “chaos” in Iraq, where our soldiers are caught in the middle of Mesopotamia’s sectarian violence that has gone from bad to worse![NECROMANCY – “The practice of conjuring up spirits from the dead hoping to influence events.”]...
