Life
As futile as it may seem, I pray that all the nations of the world would be repast with adequate food and water, and in this 21st century, we being the children of the same Creator, will seek with all of our hearts and souls, to "see" through God's eyes, and "feel" with God's heart for each other. That we would move from the law of retalitation [Lex Talionis], to true reconciliation, thus fulfilling God's desire, "That we would love the Lord Thy God with all thine heart, and all thine soul and all thine mind, and that we love "each other" as we love ourselves.

CRYSTAL – CHANDELIER
In a Desert of dry sand filled with thorns
A Rose may not die but it will certainly mourn
Before you make this choice to be with me
Please take a good look, at all that you see
I have no Mansion on a hill with a Crystal Chandelier
The precariousness of my life, we will live in fear
For you, there will be no dresses for special dances
Necessities of life will be one in a million chances
A peaceful life to have, I must give up all that I earned
For so many decades, happiness is all I yearned
In this difficult decision, I must give up all
Only then I can answer my destiny’s call
All I have to give is standing in front of you
Think once, twice, thrice, before you say I do
Look into the ocean, the myriads of miles of Sea
That silent empty distance, well, that is me!

O! Lonely heart
Wake up and be smart
Friends and family may fail you
But God’s love is forever true
When in need or riches are gone
Alone, your pain will be borne
If God is first in your life
He can placate your every strife
Crying out – “egad”
Your heart will be glad
For when doldrums make us dolorous
God remains forever efficacious!

Life is a beautiful gift
Despite every rift,
Be thankful for the present day
Even if obstacles come your way
Your troubles are few compared to some
For food and shelter, they have none

For others, life is a daily battle

That is the tempter’s touch,
What little you have, share with someone

Finally, I am abluted
Like substance when diluted,
This feeling of piety
Only comes from God’s Deity
Doldrums removed by levitation
What a blessing, this expiation
Looking into the distant Sea
No more troubles to follow me
The scent of frankincense
Tis so intense!
No one will ever know
The taste, like ouzo
Life is now pure efficacy
Decades of distress, now levity
Sun shining ever so brightly

For what is my heart searching

Will this wayfarer ever find his love?
Vision of her eyes, like that of a dove
Flames burning ever brightly within
This searchlight shall never go dim

Wondering in make belief
