this is in reply to your cancer blog, just wanted to let you know your blog really touched me big time, and felt i had to get in touch, howz it all going? my dad last year got diagnosed with the non hodgkins lymphoma and at the same time my grandad got diagnosed with bowel and secondary liver cancer,ALSO!! my uncle has and has had for years a brain tumour, my grandad sadly and thankfully now out of pain has passed away, my uncle keeps having treatment to shrink the tumour and my dad is in remission, thank god, its been a very difficult time and even though hes in remission i dread when he has to go for blood tests in case its back, but i think to get through it you have to have a positive mental attitude i knownits easier said than done! but i beleive it does help and you have to gather help and support from whoever is willing to give it, also ive found that having the scare has given my dad a new lease of life he never used to go away for holidays he just used to work work work, now my parents are away all the time making the most of life and it really is lovely to see them both getting something good from something so so bad i wish you all the luck in the world if you need a chat just call on me, claire xxx
