Man i thought this was the killer, the bomb, the one to make "nuff" heathen run go church. However i was wrong hurricane Dean was lame to say the least, thanks be to God we(jamaica) got away almost unscarred. Ivan was more brutish and dangerous. Well as usual food prices are going to be raised, water purification is a must again ( dont feel bad jamaicans at least in a couple of months we will be able to drink our tap water again), crackers and bread substitute for rice and flour ... and ground provisions ... so all in all i had time to stop and think and i realised

1) jamaica life style and cost of living not so bad

Nearly every family in jamaica had someone from that family shop for the hurricane

2) we not as underdeveloped as we think

if we were couple of weeks without light and water and net wouldnt seem so much like hell

3) Our people are ambitious and by thus we are innovative and extremely creative
