Time and time again I read where people in Jamaica will protest against the police even engage the police in violent altercations. Now out of the almost 1700 murders that took place in Jamaica last year and the ones that are happening now how many out of the 1700 were killed by the police. It always seems that people have such dislike and disdain are waiting for the police to kill someone then they take out their frustrations on the police, they have super human strength for the police. Dem block de roads, burn tyre, disrupt the lives of other citizens of Jamaica. Now on the other hand when murderers kill people no one seem to have any strength to do anything, people become blind deaf and dumb, all they do is chat behind close doors. People of Jamaica have selective viewing, they only see when the police do something and they can be in Negril and what happened took place in Morant Bay and they can give details as to what happen. When a murderer/Bad man does it no one sees anything. The thing is this in Jamaica no one wants to be known as an “INFORMER”, people have gone to their grave knowing who murdered someone. And don’t get me wrong I am not here to say people should start su su su su on other people, but people should do the right thing. Those jackasses even think that because they know what happened that they are safe which is a DUMB way to think. They could have saved the life of another person by saying something. Even Jamaicans for Justice which in my opinion is an organization of JOKERS should pack up and shut up. Jamaica will forever be in the state it is until every citizen of Jamaica gets involve and not allows fear to dictate how they live. Stop allowing fear to cripple you. People get over feeling that all informer fe dead and do the right thing. Stop wanting help from the police when you yourself are not willing to help the police. And in closing this is not a letter to say I love the police because I have had my share of issues with the police, in USA, Canada and Jamaica....

I did an experiment recently on this site I logged on and saw that there were 1760 pages of females, and out of the 1760 only 575 did not smoke. Less than 1/3 did not smoke that makes absolutely no sense. Now I have to ask what does a person get out of smoking, you people do not love yourselves because only someone that have no love for self because why would you willfully put something harmful in your body. There are warnings on the box that says it is harmful and people still do it. Here are a few I found Smoking kills Smoking seriously harms you and others around you Smokers die younger Smoking causes ageing of the skin. I also have to ask what would make you even consider starting it in the first place. If you were gasping for air we would say something is wrong now in order to get that garbage in your system the action is that of gasping for air that cannot be healthy. I know a guy who preaches health, he is a Vegan and he preaches healthy eating but he smokes like a chimney that is like an oxymoron. Not to be preaching but the Bible teaches us that our bodies are temples why would you want to do something to harm your temple. The only thing that these people who smoke are doing is making cigarette companies rich. Life is short why do you want to shorten it even more by smoking....

From ever since I can remember, I have been an avid reader of THE STAR newspaper, as the stories published in THE STAR have always captivated me. However, it has come to my attention that lately THE STAR has begun to resemble the Xnews, and to lesser extent other x-rated magazines. What you may ask am I speaking about? Well, I have noticed that for quite a good while now that the pictures of THE STAR poster girls, which are published in THE STAR on a weekly basis, have become very distasteful, as the girls are dressed in very revealing outfits (especially the outfit in the picture of THE STAR published on Monday, May 30, 2005), while at the same time exhibiting some seductive poses. It is very sad that THE STAR has to resort to the use of this method in order to help boost sales, as they already had a well-established fan base, which includes readers of all age groups. This just emphasises the point that we live in a society today where women are no longer afraid to reveal their bodies as they are oftentimes proud to do so. Who am I to judge an individual, much less to tell them what to wear, but it is very sad when I realise that women's bodies are no longer considered sacred, as nobody is afraid to show off to the public their 'assets'. This is evident in their decorum (in terms of how they dress) as well as the way how they have resorted to selling their bodies for little or nothing. To the women of Jamaica, your bodies are the temple of the Lord. You therefore do not need to be selling your bodies (especially for so cheap as there is no price tag that can be put to your bodies), neither do you need to be revealing them so much, with the intention of drawing attention to yourselves. I often wonder while sometimes looking at some of the profiles and there I see a lady saying how her sumting TITE, she has a very good kitty, she has a nice or big ass. Or the ones who claim they are looking for a gentleman who is going to respect her and be good to her but she has pictures that does not leave much to the imagination. In my opinion, you are not going to attract someone who will show respect to you, you will attract the ones who will come with his tail wagging(A DAWG, or JOEGRINE). Please remember your profile reflect on you and if you advertise for a certain kind of person you will get that kind of person but I have been told by some people the kind of responses they have been getting. Now I cannot say if a person has a profile like that they only will get responses from nutten but EEDIATS. But I feel if you put positive things on your profile you will attract positive people... (Only my opinion)...

I have yet to hear one person say when they meet someone for the first time and they are trying to get to know that person, that person was the most horrible person they had ever met. It is always, I met a really nice guy or I met a really nice lady. So why later on in the relationship that person who was such a nice person in the beginning then becomes the most horrible person in the world. The reason is they were PHONY ASS people, they pretended to be someone they are not. Another definition I have is they are good actors, they give you an Oscar winning performance in the beginning of the relationship, very convincing, they do everything right, try to make everything perfect but then later the acting stops and the real person steps forward. If you are a PHONY ASS be that way from the start, stop pretending to be a nice person when you know you are not so that nice people won't waste their time on you....

I have heard so many times where women will say "All men are LIARS" and some will say to me that all of the guys who come on Vibes are "LYING DAWGS". I first have to let them know that for me honesty is the only way to go and not to throw me in the same boat as the "LIAD" dem. I see no reason to lie and it is rare to find someone who is honest and it goes both ways. Sometimes people are afraid of people who are honest, they would probably look at that person as being "FACETY" For some reason in society it just seem like more men are the liars. I don't know why but these individuals don't seem to have any conscience. Individuals like that have no respect for themselves so no one should have respect for them, I live by my words and honesty is the only way to go. Sometimes women are lied to constantly that if someone comes along who is honest they don't know how to handle it and would probably wait to see if he will fall in the same boat as all the liars. To all a de "LIAD" dem no matter what it is you are doing "HONESTY" is the way to go because when you are honest your conscience will be clean. And when you "LIE" you 9 times out of 10 will have to tell another lie to back up the one you just told.....

I must first send condolences to the family if Gerald Bogle Levy. I am here feeling sick to my stomach as to murder of Bogle. I keep wondering will there ever come a time when Jamaican men or black men for that matter can resolve their differences in a way without murder being the end result. Now I feel so many other innocent people will also be murdered because of Bogle being killed and it will be because of hearsay, where the murderers may feel that the person may have something to do with Bogle's death. Or many will be killed at randon which will be in revenge for Bogle's murder. Now there are times when someone who is not in Jamaica may say how some much killing going on and someone will try to make comparison to some other place. We know killing go on in other places we just want it to stop in Jamaica. I do put some of the blame on the DJ's, they love to get on records and chat bout dem gun and when someone is killed then turn around and cry for peace. You caan waan peace and a preach gun war. And the man dem who would rather send a barrel of guns rather than a barrel of food remember God is not sleeping. We all know food is the staff of life, gun is a staff that take a life. Nothing is gain from hurting each other....
